Within the New Zealand Institute for Advanced Study, Massey University.
We seek applicants who will support a very active and vigorous research program within
the Centre for Theoretical Chemistry and Physics of the NZ Institute for Advanced Study.
The successful applicant will have excellent knowledge of computer science and skill in
programming in Fortran and C++ is essential. The candidate will also support and contribute
to the maintenance of the centre's high-performance compute cluster, supervision of
postgraduate students as well as making a limited contribution to undergraduate teaching.
Qualification required: A PhD in the Physical or Chemical Sciences or an equivalent
discipline. A track record in research including the ability to produce research articles in refereed journal articles, along with a willingness to pursue external research funding.
Experience in teaching at tertiary level or equivalent professional experience is advantageous.
