It hosts a large research effort in the area of quantum gases, with a theoretical and experimental program involving ten staff and a similar number of PhD students. Recent funding success, including the establishment of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Engineered Quantum Systems, has lead to four new vacant postdoctoral positions (two theoretical and two experimental) in the field of Bose-Einstein condensation and quantum degenerate gases. Positions are for up to three years, with salary up to AUD$106689 (including superannuation). The vacancies can be filled at either academic level A or B for more experienced researchers.
