iqClock is a prestigious European Quantum Flagship project, which started in October 2019 (https://iqclock.eu). The research fellow is expected to be the driving force behind the realisation an Optical Lattice Clock setup in the lab. The fellow will have access to our state-of-the art labs and will also benefit from the European Collaborations as well as from our direct link to the UK National Quantum Technology Hub in Sensors and Metrology (https://www.quantumsensors.org/news/).
We are looking for highly motivated people ready to push the boundaries of the field. Though we are very open and flexible, experience in cold atoms is certainly an advantage. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance a profile in precision timekeeping with optical lattice clocks within an internationally leading Quantum Technology program.
