Princeton University
Openings are available for Postdoctoral Research Associate or more senior research positions in experimental atomic physics with a focus on precision measurements under the direction of Professor Michael Romalis. Researchers will have an opportunity to work on most sensitive magnetic field sensors using quantum-non-demolition measurements and spin-squeezing techniques. Other near-term goals include understanding the fundamental limitations of magnetic field sensing and development of practical applications and tests of fundamental symmetries based on these sensitive magnetic field detectors. Interested candidates should have a PhD in experimental atomic physics or closely related field. More information about the group’s research may be found at http://physics.princeton.edu/romalis/.
