Postdoctoral Research Fellow / Research Fellow - Experimental Atom Optics

The successful candidate will be required to participate in the current experiments carried out using a Bose Einstein Condensate, and develop methods leading to single atom detection. You should possess a PhD in experimental atom optics, or have a demonstrated research record in this area. Experience with numerical modelling will be an advantage. This is a fixed term, three year appointment at Academic Level A or Level B depending on qualifications and experience. The remuneration package will be in the range of Level A ($65,961 - $70,806; Level B ($74,533 - $88,508), which includes employer superannuation contributions of 17%. The preferred starting date is the second part of 2006, however a later start date may be negotiated.
