There are several postdoctoral opportunities with the Thywissen group in the University of Toronto department of physics.
1. Postdoctoral fellowship in the CIfAR Junior Academy. Salary $65,000 + $5,000 research support. See guidelines on the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research web site. Deadlines: September 1, 2010; and January 21, 2011. Notification is approximately 2.5 months after applying.
2. NSERC postdoctoral fellowship (program guidelines). Salary $50,000 ($40,000 fellowship + $10,000 top-up). Eligibility: Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Deadline: 15 October 2010. Notification by 31 March 2011.
