Postdoctoral Fellowship in Ultracold Atoms and Molecules

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Fellow (Ultracold Atoms and Molecules) to carry out experimental investigations into fundamental issues relating to ultracold atoms and molecules. The Jack Dodd Centre for Photonics and Ultracold Atoms is currently performing investigations in the areas of cold collisions and Bose-Einstein condensates in optical lattices, and developing tools for studying ultracold molecules. The successful candidate will be expected to play a key role in the research programme and assist with the supervision of graduate students in the group. Applicants should be highly motivated, and have postdoctoral or PhD research experience in experimental laser and atomic physics. The appointment is for a period of up to two years.
