Postdoc Position in Ultracold Fermi Gases in Optical Lattices

position expired
Center for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore, Singapore
Quantum Matter Group at Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) in Singapore invites immediate applications of postdoctoral research position in ultracold Fermi gases in optical lattices. Applicants should have (or expect to have) a PhD degree in experimental AMO physics. Research experience with cold atoms/ions and/or degenerate quantum gases is highly preferred. The successful candidate will join a newly started project (01/09) aiming at investigating quantum many-body physics with fermionic atoms in optical lattices. The project is carried out in partnership with the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). CQT is an active and stimulating research environment and offers excellent funding. The period of employment will be nominally two years (with yearly based contract) with competitive salary, but can be further extended upon mutual agreement. Please send your inquiry and/or application (cv and at least two letters of references) to any of the principal investigators listed below. Applications are accepted, until the position is filled.
