We have a PhD position available on a new project "Ultracold controlled chemistry" that aims to investigate atom-exchange reactions in ultracold mixtures of atoms and Feshbach molecules. We are currently setting up an experiment for creating an ultracold mixture of metastable helium and rubidium atoms. The project involves Feshbach spectroscopy in this new ultracold quantum gas, perform Feshbach association, and study the collisional properties of the atom-molecule mixture.
