The Laboratory of Atomic and Solid State Physics at Cornell University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship focused on theoretical studies of condensed matter, atomic physics, or biophysics, to begin in July 2008 or later. The successful candidate is expected to develop an outstanding research program as well as to be an effective teacher at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
