FACULTY POSITION in EXPERIMENTAL AMO PHYSICS

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT URBANA-CHAMPAIGN
The Department of Physics invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position in the area of Experimental Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics, beginning as early as August 16, 2013. Appointments at the Assistant Professor level will be given preference, but appointments at a higher level will be considered for exceptionally well-qualified candidates. A Ph.D., or equivalent, is required, along with the ability to teach effectively at both undergraduate and graduate levels and to conduct a vigorous and significant research program.   Salary will be competitive and rank will be commensurate with qualifications. For full consideration, applications should be received by November 16, 2012, but applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
