The Department of Physics invites applications for full-time tenure track faculty positions in the areas of Experimental Condensed Matter and Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics, beginning as early as August 16, 2011. Appointments at the Assistant Professor level will be given preference, but appointments at a higher level will be considered for exceptionally well-qualified candidates. A Ph.D., or equivalent, is required, along with the ability to teach effectively at both undergraduate and graduate levels and to conduct a vigorous and significant research program. Salary will be competitive and rank will be commensurate with qualifications. For full consideration, applications should be received by November 14, 2011, but applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
