The Many-body Quantum Dynamics Group, led by Prof Ulrich Schneider, of the Department of Physics, invites applications for postdoctoral positions on experimental research on many-body dynamics using ultracold atomic gases and optical lattices.

In addition to our main experiments on Quantum Simulations in Optical Quasicrystals and a Kagome Quantum Gas Microscope, we are also starting a new activity on Tweezer Arrays with Strontium Atoms for Quantum Information and Sensing applications.
Current Postdoc opportunities include fundamental many-body physics in Optical Quasicrystals, or being part of the UK Quantum Technology Hub and developing lattice and tweezer-based quantum simulators.
