The Air Force Research Laboratory at Hanscom AFB, MA, seeks a candidate for a potential full-time permanent position in experimental microchip Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) research. Candidates will support experimental efforts in association with current research at AFRL (Bedford MA). The goal of this research is to develop a microchip sized matter wave interferometer for the precision measurement of rotation. The ideal applicant should have expertise in laser cooling, trapping, and Bose-Einstein condensation, both theoretical and experimental. This position will be funded at the DR-II level ($68,000 - $105,000).

Requirements
A qualified applicant will have a PhD in physics, be a US citizen, and possess expertise in atomic physics.
