AMO post doc position
In the group for cold and ultracold atoms at the Niels Bohr Institute there is a two-year postdoc position available. Currently the group has two activities running; a sodium BEC experiment and an experimental program on cold magnesium atoms. The successful candidate is expected to work on the magnesium project, where the goal is to set up an ultra precise atomic clock. Ongoing magnesium activities are focused on obtaining lower sample temperatures, feasibility studies of dipole trapping, and investigations of the magic wavelength.
Candidates with a strong experimental background in cold atom physics and experience with non-linear optics are preferred.
