Postdoc positions – INLN, University of Nice, France 3 postdoc positions are available to work with the cold atoms group at INLN at the University of Nice. The topics to be covered include: Experiments on intensity correlations with a particular focus on applications to astrophysics Experiments on cooperative scattering with cold atoms. Experiments on random lasing and intensity correlations with cold atoms These positions are for 12-15 months (with some possibility of extension, depending on the funding scheme, one including an international collaboration with the group of P. Courteille in Brazil). We are looking for candidates with a solid expertise in experimental physics (optics, laser physics, quantum optics). A background in atomic physics (in particular on cold atoms) is appreciated, but not mandatory. While not all positions need to be filled before end of 2014, we will consider a first round of applications until end of october 2014.
