The aim of the virtual workshop is to bring together young researchers working in the areas of ultra-cold quantum gases and liquids, both theoretical and experimental. The main focus of the workshop is to address the phenomenon of quantum fluctuations in different systems such as polarons, droplets, superfluids, supersolids, etc. The event will consist of 20 oral presentations distributed in two days.
We are organising the workshop within a very easy-going and informal atmosphere in order to exchange ideas and catch up with the-state-of-the-art in this exciting field.
Topics of interest:
- Droplets and bubbles in quantum mixtures
- Supersolidity in dipolar systems
- Impurities and quantum probes
- Bose and Fermi polarons
- Spin-orbit coupled gases
- Quantum fluctuations and Gravitational waves
