The 26th edition of the YAO (Young Atom Opticians) conference will be held at Aarhus University, Denmark. Originally the meeting was to take place May 25-29 2020, however due to the current COVID-19 situation in Denmark and the rest of the world, the YAO 2020 conference has been postponed to August. This means that the conference will be held from Monday, August 17 through Friday, August 21. It is our hope that the world situation has improved significantly by then, however, the safety of the YAO 2020 participants takes priority and we will continue to monitor the development of the situation.

Organized by PhD students, it provides postdocs, PhD and Master students with the chance of presenting their research to their peers and discuss it with their fellow students.

The Young Atom Optician conference is aimed at young researchers in the fields of quantum optics, quantum simulation, quantum information and metrology, trapped atoms, molecules and ions, circuit and cavity QED and photonics.

Application is open until February 16 2020.
