Universal Themes of Bose-Einstein Condensation

The UBEC conference series addresses broad themes of BEC that cross through all types of condensates, including helium and hydrogen, superconductors, quasiparticle condensation, photons and lasing, and condensation in nuclear physics, astrophysics, and cosmology.

The first UBEC meeting was held in Leiden, Netherlands, in 2013. Much of the book, Universal Themes of Bose-Einstein Condensation, edited by Nick Proukakis, David Snoke, and Peter Littlewood, is based on contributions from the participants at that UBEC meeting.

The second UBEC meeting will be in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, April 1-5, 2019. We welcome contributions on all topics of physics that go beyond the details of specific systems, to address the general physics of spontaneous coherence and condensation.

For more details and for registration, see the UBEC website.
