Ultracold Rydberg Physics Workshop

This workshop will feature the latest developments in ultracold Rydberg physics. The field of ultracold Rydberg gases is at the crossroads of various scientific areas, including atomic, molecular, optical, and condensed matter physics, among others. In this strongly interdisciplinary field, these systems provide new and interesting phenomena and applications, especially in many-body physics, quantum information, metrology, nonlinear optics or laser technology. The aim is to bring together experimentalists and theorists to review the current progress and explore future directions and challenges in this field.

The workshop will take place at the Casas del Chapiz (Houses of the Chapiz), a former Morisco building whose origins date back to the 14th century, located in the heart of the old Moorish quarter Albayzin with views to the famous Alhambra palace. We hope that this special location will provide an ideal environment for scientific discussions and intellectual enjoyment.

A few scholarships will be offered to selected PhD students. The registration is now open and will close on June 1st.
