We would like to announce the workshop "Quark Gluon Plasma meets Cold Atoms". This meeting will bring together about 50 people working in both fields. There will be introductory talks setting the framework and specialized talks within each field. The meeting will end with informal talks by young researchers during a brunch on the last day.
The workshop will take place at GSI in Darmstadt from September 25th until September 27th, 2008 and is organized in the frame of the Helmholtz Alliance "Extremes of Density and Temperature".
The deadline for applications is September 10th, 2008.
