This workshop is dedicated to the theoretical and experimental challenges in the field of quantum gases, with a strong connection to other area of physics including strongly correlated systems, low-dimensional systems, synthetic fields, disorder effects, dipolar gases, matter waves, etc. One of the main goals of this workshop is to bring together young researchers coming from Europe and overseas. The program is divided in 5 session opened by leading senior scientists in the field of cold atoms followed by 4/5 talks by junior scientists selected by the advisory committee. A poster session open to all the participants is an important moment of the workshop.
