Quantum Disordered Systems: What's Next?

Understanding disorder effects in quantum systems is one of the major challenges of modern condensed matter physics. The seminal work of Anderson (1958) has opened a new field, which nowadays experiences an increasing activity. The topic is now present in various areas, ranging from the problem of the metal-insulator transition, to mesoscopic physics and quantum chaos, strongly correlated materials, cold atoms, bosonic and spins systems, etc. This conference aims to bring together researchers from the physics of quantum systems in which disorder plays a fundamental role. Multidisciplinary by nature, this subject has seen important advances in recent years which we wish to see addressed here in order to stimulate the exchange of ideas at the intersection of several fields of theoretical and experimental physics.
