Non-Equilibrium Quantum Dynamics in Low Dimensions Mini-Conference

We welcome applications to attend a three-day conference on non-equilibrium quantum dynamics in low dimensions set against the back drop of historic Durham and the magnificent medieval cathedral. The conference will explore experimental and theoretical themes pertinent to a vast number of physical system, with an emphasis on recent developments in the field of ultracold atomic gases. Focus topics will include the Kibble-Zurek mechanism in 2D Bose gases, spin squeezing and entanglement, many-body equilibrium phases of spinor condensates, and collisions and dynamics of bright matter-wave solitons. Confirmed keynote speakers include Jean Dalibard (ENS, Paris) and Randy Hulet (Rice University, USA). Deadline for registration and abstract submission: 15 April 2015
