Non-equilibrium behavior in superfluid gases at finite temperature

At present, there are several different formalisms in dealing with the effect of the thermal cloud in superfluid gases. This short workshop will try to make connections between approaches, which deal with kinetic equations, classical field theory, Kadanoff-Baym equations, projected Gross-Pitaevskii equations, truncated Wigner approximation, etc. To this end, lectures will include reviews of the different formalisms, an attempt to assess their relative merits in different problems, and recent research results.

Topics to be covered in the invited talks include optical lattices, vortices, and Fermi gases. There will also be a poster session.
