Many-body Physics in Synthetic Quantum Systems

Advances in the quantum optical manipulation of atoms, molecules and solid-state devices have enabled the realization of experimental platforms whose exquisite control permits systematic investigations of complex many-body phenomena and their potential applications. Current progress continues to generate new challenges for experiments as well as for the theoretical description and conceptualization of such synthetic many-body systems. This workshop, therefore, intends to reflect the diversity of currents, intertwine frontier topics, such as: Quantum gases, Artificial atoms and hybrid settings, Synthetic quantum magnets, Synthetic gauge fields, Controllable long-range interactions, Disorder and transport phenomena.
