We are delighted to announce that the next iteration of the Cold and Controlled Molecules and Ions (CCMI) conference will be held near Stony Brook University from August 17th to 21st. This is the first time since 2018 that the CCMI conference will be held in the US.
The conference will bring together experts in the fields of cold/ultracold molecules and ions, collisions, high precision spectroscopy, spectroscopy of clusters, quantum simulations and precision measurements. We have assembled an impressive lineup of invited speakers.
Information about the conference and venue is available at https://mitralab2024.github.io/CCMI2026/. We are inviting abstracts for poster sessions and some of the abstracts will be selected for hot topic talks. We strongly encourage students, postdocs and early-career researchers to participate. Long Island is near New York City, which makes both domestic and international travel easy. We will provide some travel support to students. Also there’s nothing better than summer in NYC, especially with the nearby beaches and the US Open tennis tournament which starts on August 24th in nearby Flushing Meadows!
