The international program, Cold-Atom Based Quantum Simulators and Forthcoming Quantum Technology Applications, will bring together leading scientists and early-career researchers from atomic, molecular, optical (AMO), and condensed matter physics. It will focus on nonequilibrium cold quantum gases—particularly dipolar gases, ultracold molecules, and Rydberg atoms—and explore fundamental and applied aspects of quantum simulation and sensing.
The program includes keynote talks, lectures by eminent scientists, and short presentations by PhD students and postdocs to promote young researcher engagement. Topics include many-body localization, entanglement dynamics, universal behavior in nonequilibrium systems, and the role of long-range interactions and dimensionality in exotic quantum phases.
