Enrico Fermi School on Quantum Computers and Simulators with Atoms

Dear Colleagues,

we would like to draw your attention on the forthcoming Enrico Fermi Summer School on Quantum Computers and Simulators with Atoms (5th-14th July 2024, Varenna, Italy). You'll find below a brief description and full information is available on the School's website.

The course, addressed to PhD students and early postdocs, is designed to bring together some of the world's leading experts in the application of ultracold atoms in optical lattices and optical tweezers to the development of quantum simulators and computers. The lecturers will deliver both comprehensive lecture series on the theoretical and experimental foundations of quantum computing and simulation with ultracold neutral atoms, as well as concise, targeted lectures on more specialized topics and related scientific areas.

The course will take place in the inspiring setting of the famous Villa Monastero in the picturesque town of Varenna on the shore of Como Lake (Italy). Students will have extensive opportunities to discuss with the lecturers and network with each other throughout the course. Following the school, the lectures will be published as a book of proceedings and the hardcopy will be delivered to all the participants.
