DOQS 2016 Workshop: Many Body Dynamics and Open Quantum Systems

This workshop follows on from the successful DOQS2014 workshop, and will bring together world-leading theorists and experimentalists from the fields of quantum optics and quantum many-body systems. A focus of the workshop is the understanding of interactions between a quantum system and its environment, and how these open quantum system dynamics combine with the behaviour of many-body AMO systems.

Registration is now open, and both the online registration form and further information are available at http://doqs2016.phys.strath.ac.uk . The deadline for early-bird registration is May 31st 2016, and the final deadline for registration is July 31st 2016. A small number of poster contributions will be selected for invited hot topics talks. We will contact the corresponding speakers after the final registration deadline.

We are very pleased to announce the following invited keynote speakers: Mari-Carmen Bañuls (Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics)
Immanuel Bloch (Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics)
Andreas Buchleitner (University of Freiburg)
Frederic Chevy (ENS Paris)
