CQIQC-III

Quantum Information (QI) and Quantum Control (QC) are both hot topics with promising, yet mostly unexplored overlap. This conference will bring together physicists, chemists, computer scientists, and mathematicians to discuss the current status of the two fields and present important recent developments.

This year's conference will include the presentation of the first biennial John Stewart Bell Prize for Research on Fundamental Issues in Quantum Mechanics and their Applications. In addition, confirmed invited speakers so far include G.S. Agarwal, Alain Aspect, David Cory, Jiangbin Gong, Lucien Hardy, Seogjoo Jang, Thomas Jennewein, Masato Koashi, John Martinis, Chris Monroe, Marcus Motzkus, Terry Rudolph, Masahide Sasaki, Greg Scholes, Wolfgang Tittel, Jelena Vuckovic, and Andrew White.

The abstract submission deadilne is June 30, 2009 , so time is running short -- we hope to see you and/or your students in Toronto in August!
