CATMIN III: Frontiers in Rydberg Physics - from few-body interactions to many-body quantum simulations

Synopsis:

A conference covering experimental and theoretical research involving atoms and molecules in highly-excited Rydberg states. The conference program will cover all areas of Rydberg physics from quantum sensing and simulation, to precision spectroscopy and cold chemistry. Driven by the explosive developments in the field over the last decade, particular emphasis will be placed on the generation of strong interparticle interactions mediated by Rydberg excitations for simulations of, e.g., quantum magnetization, quantum few- and many-body phenomena, and quantum simulation and computation.

The conference will consist of sessions with invited presentations, hot topic talks and posters sessions.

Organizers:

Stephen Hogan (UCL)

Hannes Pichler (Innsbruck)

Hossein Sadeghpour (Harvard)

Venue: Bloomsbury Campus, University College London
