Ergodic systems lie at the heart of statistical physics since they reach thermal equilibrium and 'forget' their initial conditions, thereby allowing for coarse-grained classical descriptions. Recently, non-ergodic quantum many-body systems, which fail to thermalise and decohere completely, came into focus. This interdisciplinary meeting will address their fundamental challenges and experimental realisations, including many-body localisation and other novel, non-classical long-time behaviour.

There will be a poster session at 17.30 on Monday 6 February 2017. If you would like to present a poster you are invited to submit an abstract for consideration by the scientific organisers. Your abstract should be no more than 200 words, and should make clear the title, your name, your institution and the author list. Please note that you may only submit an abstract for consideration if you are registered to attend the meeting.

This meeting is intended for researchers in relevant fields and is free to attend. There are a limited number of places so registration is essential. An optional lunch is offered and should be booked at registration.
