52nd Conference of the European Group on Atomic Systems (EGAS) [Postponed to 2021]

The conference is one of the most successful European conferences in the broad field of AMO physics with typically 200-300 participants. It has been held without interruption every year for more than 50 years. As in previous years, we hope to attract a large audience covering a wide range of interests from all fields related to EGAS.

The EGAS52 topics will include: fundamental physics, cold gases and quantum fluids, quantum optics, quantum information and quantum simulation, frequency and time domain spectroscopy and metrology, applications to astrophysics, plasma physics, biophysics, clusters, atom-like systems, mini-symposium on CALT related topics.

Confirmed plenary speakers: J. Ignacio Cirac, MPQ, Garching, Germany; Jean Dalibard, LKB, Collège de France, Paris, France; Francesca Ferlaino, IQOQI, Univ. of Innsbruck, Austria; Rudolf Grimm IQOQI, Univ. of Innsbruck, Austria; Bernd von Issendorff, Physikalisches Institut, Universität Freiburg, Germany; Fedor Jelezko, Institute for Quantum Optics, Ulm University, Germany; Frédéric Merkt, ETH Zurich, Switzerland; Dragan Mihailović, Jožef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia; Gerry O’Sullivan, University College Dublin, Ireland; Jun Ye, JILA, University of Colorado, Boulder, USA; Philippe Zeitoun, LOA, Palaiseau, France..
