The eighteenth annual International Laser Physics Workshop (LPHYS'09) will be held from July 13 to July 17, 2009, in the World Trade Center Barcelona by the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO), Barcelona, Spain. Seminar topics include modern trends in laser physics, strong field and attosecond physics, biophotonics, the physics of lasers, nonlinear optics and spectroscopy, the physics of cold trapped atoms,quantum information and computation, nanophotonics, and fiber lasers.
