Welcome
Ultracold Fermi Gas |
Welcome to the UltraCold Atom News (UCAN) web page, a site dedicated to tracking progress in the study of neutral quantum degenerate gases. |
|
UCAN is intended to serve as a resource for the international ultracold atoms community. Its pages include: a free job posting board; information about upcoming conferences; observations of Bose-Einstein condensates and degenerate Fermi gases; a general reference page about quantum degeneracy; and contact information for both experimental and theoretical groups active in the field. We invite anyone working in this field to post their group information in the "Research Groups" list; and anyone who has a new BEC or DFG in their lab to post a short announcement on the "News" list. By encouraging informal reporting from the field, we hope to provide comprehensive list of the quantum degeneracy observations in the world, an idea pioneered by the GSU BEC Homepage from 1997 to 2002. Update: We have updated our contact us page. If you have any comments or suggestions please use now available options of emailing us or posting a comment directly on the website.
