PostDoc in experimental Quantum Information Science at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Fellow within the School of Physics and Applied Physics at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. The successful applicant will join the Ultra Cold Atoms research group, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Rainer Dumke. The project aims on the application of nano optical chip structures to store, control and manipulate ultra cold atoms with the focus in the application for quantum information science. Applications fort his position must satisfy the following essential criteria: a PhD in Physics or a related discipline; a strong background in experimental physics with the focus on laser cooling and trapping or super conducting qubits; demonstrated capacity to conduct experimental research and work in a team environment; and excellent oral and written communication skills. The position is fulltime for up to three years, subject to the completion of a satisfactory probation period for new appointees.
