ICOLS 2007 - The 18th International Conference on Laser Spectroscopy

Following traditions of previous meetings the 2007 ICOLS conference will consist of invited oral presentations along with poster sessions of contributed papers. The Telluride Colorado venue provides a beautiful setting that is conducive to close interactions of participants, as well as stimulating outside activities. Because of limited space and to ensure an active productive conference participation in the meeting is by invitation only. Updates on the conference will appear on this web site and will be sent out occasionally to the e-mail list.

Program Topics Include:
  • Atomic and molecular laser spectroscopy
  • Precision spectroscopy and metrology
  • Laser cooling and trapping
  • Degenerate gasses, BECs, cold Fermions
  • Cold collisions and cold molecules
  • Atomic interferometry
  • Quantum optics
  • Quantum information based on spectroscopic methods
  • Advanced laser sources, nonlinear optics and spectroscopy
