Beyond Digital Computing: The Power of Quantum and Neural Networks

The full simulation of complex systems, both in the classical and quantum regime, is far beyond the capabilities of current computing schemes. Recent proposals aim to push the boundaries of computability with hybrid strategies based on machine learning, network theory, neuromorphic hardware, and quantum simulation. Our international symposium aims to bring together experts from different fields to explore how to harness the full potential of these emerging architectures. The symposium will be held at the International Academic Forum Heidelberg (www.iwh.uni-hd.de).
