21 Feb 2016 - 26 Feb 2016
Munich, Germany

The Young Atom Opticians (YAO) conference is a yearly meeting, organized by and for PhD candidates in the field of atomic, molecular and optical physics. In February 2016, the conference will take place in Munich for the first time - on the Garching research campus - hosted by Prof. Rempe's Quantum Dynamics Division of the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics.

Apart from talks and poster presentations by the young researchers, the scientific programme features five invited talks:
Immanuel Bloch, Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, Garching, Germany
Francesca Ferlaino, University of Innsbruck, Austria
Michael Fleischhauer, University of Kaiserslautern, Germany
Ed Hinds, Imperial College, London, United Kingdom
Gerhard Rempe, Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, Garching, Germany
